This is a pretty easy one too. CBD oil is the natural oil that is extracted from the leaves and, primarily, the flowers of the cannabis plant. Now, this is a little deeper… Cannabinoids are the active compounds themselves that are produced by all cannabis plants. They are what account for most of the benefits of cannabis. We get it. Hemp and marijuana are both types of cannabis, so it’s normal that the two sometimes get confused. The biggest difference is that marijuana contains a cannabinoid known as THC, which causes a “high” and is known as a drug.
