This is a pretty easy one too. CBD oil is the natural oil that is extracted from the leaves and, primarily, the flowers of the cannabis plant. It is wildly popular all over the world and used by many different people as a dietary supplement to improve health and wellness. Or you can just call it slippery, feel-good, plant juice.

Now, this is a little deeper… Cannabinoids are the active compounds themselves that are produced by all cannabis plants. They are what account for most of the benefits of cannabis. The cannabinoids that are found in plants are technically called phytocannabinoids, while cannabinoids that are produced by the human body are called endocannabinoids. Pretty neat right? When these cannabinoids interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) they promote homeostasis… and happiness.

These two are equally cool, but for different reasons. Hemp is a variety of cannabis that is grown mostly for food and fibers, while CBD is a molecular compound found in the plant’s extracts. CBDweebs is extracted from a proprietary strain of hemp known as PCR hemp, or phytocannabinoid-rich hemp. This strain is more abundant in CBD and other cannabinoids and terpenes. Basic hemp plants used by most CBD producers just can’t compare. Sorry, but it’s just the facts.

We get it. Hemp and marijuana are both types of cannabis, so it’s normal that the two sometimes get confused. The biggest difference is that marijuana contains a cannabinoid known as THC, which causes a “high” and is known as a drug. Hemp, however, contains negligible amounts of THC and is unlikely to cause a high. CBDweebs products undergo a patented process that removes traces of THC from the final product. It’s good to know your oils! When we say, broad spectrum, we are referring to CBD oil products that contain a combination of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial compounds found within hemp. Many other CBD oils use CBD isolate, while CBDweebs broad spectrum maintains the concentrations of those various, beneficial compounds. Full spectrum CBD oil is very similar to broad spectrum CBD, with one major exception: Full spectrum oil usually retains the trace amounts of THC present in the hemp plant.
